Smart city specialist Connexin has announced plans to deploy IoT air quality monitoring sensors across the UK city of Hull to collect real-time information on the quality of the air.
Connexin will use its existing LoRaWAN network in the city to carry the data from the sensors back to its cloud-based platforms. This data will then be visualised on a map, which will be made available to the public through Connexin’s website.
The first sensors will be deployed over the next month near areas of high occupancy, such as hospitals, schools, high streets and major roadways.
