Telia Finland announced that it’s working with the bus company Pohjolan Liikenne on intelligent bus services in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The IoT solution provides a display in the bus cab to help drivers and the company monitor in real time fuel consumption and optimise driving behaviour and planning. The system will be expanded to the 33 electric buses in the fleet in August.
Telia has implemented similar solutions in other Nordic countries, such as Sweden, where it claims a 65 percent market share in digital services for public transport.
