Cisco has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of Luxembourg to support the country’s efforts to remain a leader in the digital economy. The company has developed the concept of Country Digital Acceleration (CDA), already under implementation in sixteen countries, to create bespoke programmes that back the national strategy. Cisco will implement a three-year programme in line with the ‘Digital Luxembourg’ initiative, with specific measures in the education, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things and fintech sectors.
The CDA projects in the pipeline include the opening of a Networking Academy at the University of Luxembourg, which will provide free courses based on Cisco’s NetAcad curriculum.
