Data Center “G50” was commissioned for service in May 2013. Design and construction of the data center were conducted with regard to a 20-year experience in operation of telecommunication infrastructure and with implementation of basic requirements of the Uptime Institute (Tier III-IV and Tia-942 standard levels).
The massive reinforced concrete construction of the building guarantees extreme physical endurance of the building. The floors of the building have excessive endurance – the first floor will withstand a load of 5,000 kg / m2. Other floors and the roof – a load of 1,500 kg / m2. All walls and doors have fire resistance from 60 to 120 minutes.
All of the Writing Center clients have an opportunity to use a standard server rack with a width of 600 (19 inches) and a depth of 1000-1150 mm depends of a room. Accommodation of nonstandard cabinets is possible.
All Data Center racks has a preparation for structured cabling system. Separate trays for copper and fiber optic cables and patch cords are provided under the racks. The supply of cold air – from below and into the pass of the cold front zone (cabinets with 60% overlap bars front and rear).
Uninterrupted power supply of Data Center is provided by two independent modular sources of Liebert APM. ATS system is based on static high-speed electromechanical switches. The absence of contactors coils that are energized, and mutual mechanical locking improve reliability of an applied Data Center scheme and also protect from human errors.
Grounding of Data Center object provides two spaced wells, with the depth of 68 and 76 meters. Such a scheme is guaranteed to protect equipment and staff from any TS accidents.
The usage of electrostatic metal screen over the entire surface of the clean Data Center floor, and a special design of the raised floor plates with a metal sheet at the bottom with conductive support elements and grounded trays prevents the accumulation of space charge air flow. Two grounding 70-meters wells provides excellent grounding and full protection for equipment from pulse interference.
The system of Data Center gas fire suppression is equipped with sensors for early detection of smoke. All gas cylinders evenly distributed in the room areas under and on the raised floor.
The system of Data Center access control, motion detectors and video surveillance system with a long term storage of HD cameras records provide effective access control, protection and monitoring of staff operations.
Each visitor is verified with a picture ID and cross-checked with the list of authorized persons in the security system. The movements of visitors in the facility are restricted and accompanied by security personnel or data center staff.
